Class Schedule

1st Hour – Exploratory Agriculture 8th Grade

2nd Hour – Ag. Structures I & II

3rd Hour – Ag. Science I

4th Hour – Ag. Power

5th Hour – Ag. Science I

6th Hour – Ag. Construction I & II

7th Hour – Planning

 

Classroom Expectation

In order to maintain a positive learning environment, the following rules must be met by every student in the agricultural classroom, shops and greenhouse.

 

ü  Students should be in their seats when the tardy bell starts to ring.  This does not mean rushing in the door as the bell is ringing

ü  Please stay in your seats during class.  Ask permission leave your seat.

ü  Use the restrooms water fountain before coming to class to minimize classroom disruptions.

ü  Please do not “chat” with your neighbors during class.  This creates distractions for other st as well as the teacher.

ü  Each student is ressible for helping to keep the classroom in top condition.  Notebooks and record books should be put away

on the proper shelf at the end of class.  The teacher is not responsible for you materials when you fail to put them up or take them with you.  Trash should be placed and not thrown the trash can.

ü  Do not bring food or drinks into the classroom.  Crumbs and food in the trash attract ants and mice.

ü  Be courteous and respectful to other students and the instructor at all times.

ü  Profanity will not tolerated in the classroom.

ü  Be considerate of the furniture and equipment in the Classroom chairs are not rocking chairs and should have four feet on the floor at all times.  Table tops are not chairs and should be sat on.  Please do not te on table tops, chairs, or other classroom furniture.

ü  Do not enter the storage closet, agricultural shop, or instructor’s office without permission.

ü  Remain seated dismissed by the instructor.  The bell is merely a signal that class time is over.  This also means you shouldn’t line up at the door before the end of class.

ü  Studetns are expected to be prepared for class daily.  This includes having assignmes, pencils, paper, notebooks, record books, and other class materials when needed.  It is not the responsibility of the instructor to provide these items for you.
