Coca Cola Scholars Program
Students
must be US citizens; anticipating
completion of high school diploma at the time of application; planning to
pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution; and carrying
a minimum 3.00 GPA at the end of their junior year of high school. Applications

Hagan Scholarship
The Hagan Scholarships are
intended for high
achieving students in need of financial assistance in order to attend college.
These recipients will graduate from a public high school located in a County,
in an eligible state, having fewer than 50,000 residents. Applications are due November

scholarship opportunity is available to any boy or girl in the top 10% of the

This scholarship opportunity is available to a young woman

Crossing Foundation Scholarship
This
scholarship opportunity is available to students completing their twelfth grade
year (or final high school year) and planning careers in government service.

Scholarship
This
scholarship opportunity is open to students wanting to enter the accounting

Sam Walton
Community Scholarship
This scholarship
is a non-renewable $1000 award for the student’s first year of undergraduate study at an approved accredited
college or university. To qualify, the student must be a graduating high school
senior and may not be a Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. or SAM’S CLUB Associate, or the child or legal dependent of a Wal-Mart
Stores, Inc. or SAM’S CLUB Associate.
The application may be found at www.walmartfoundation.org. The access code SWCS must be used to access this
application process. Information will available beginning in December. The deadline for entry
is a postmark of January 31.
John Dennis
Scholarship
Scholarship
applications are available to seniors who intend to pursue a criminal justice career and will be attending a Missouri
college or university. Applicants must be in good standing with their school,
have a good reference from their school counselor, demonstrate financial need,
have a 2.0 GPA or greater, and be active in extra-curricular activities. The applications

Mizzou Alumni Associations Alumni Scholars Program
This
scholarship opportunity is available to students who will enroll at the
University of Missouri Columbia. Students must have a 26 or higher on the ACT
or rank in the top 20% of their high school graduating class. Students DO NOT
have to be related to an MU graduate in order to qualify. Details about the
Alumni Scholars Program are available online at www.mizzou.com/scholarship and are
due February 1.
James L. and
Nellie M. Westlake Scholarship
This award may
cover college tuition, books and supplies. To apply, students must be Missouri residents.
They must also be graduating high school seniors from a public or private high
school in Missouri. Students’ families should have
an adjusted gross income of $40,000 or less. Applications are available at www.sms.scholarshipamerica.org/westlake.

KFC Colonels Scholarship
This
scholarship opportunity is open to students with financial need and
entrepreneurial spirit. Students must have a 2.75 GPA and enroll in a public
college or university within their state of legal residence. Information will

The Best Buy
Scholarships reward students for all of their work; inside and outside of the

Cargill
Community Scholarship
This program
awards $1000 scholarships to 350 high-school seniors in the United States who
live in communities where Cargill has a business presence. Students are selected
based on academic achievement and leadership in extracurricular and civic
activities. Each applicant must have a signature from a Cargill employee on the
application in order to be eligible for the program. Our local Cargill business
is located at 1006 Industrial Park Drive, Montgomery City. Applications are

This

Defense Transportation Association Scholastic Awards
The purpose of
the NDTA Scott/St. Louis Chapter scholarship program is to promote careers in
Business, Transportation Logistics, and Physical Distribution. Although all

Project 21
2011-12 Scholarship
The Project 21
Scholarship Contest was designed to let young people educate other young people
that it is not permissible in Missouri for persons under the age of 21 to
gamble in a casino. Students may apply in three categories: article, poster or
video. Winning essays must be displayed in the school newspaper or magazine.
Winning posters must be displayed for two weeks in student areas (hallways,
cafeterias). Winning videos must be viewed at a student body meeting. All
entries must be submitted by March 1.
Kansas City
Associated Equipment Distributors Scholarship
This
scholarship opportunity is available to students who plan to attend a
vocational/technical school and pursue a certificate or associates degree in
Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Repair. Applications are available on-line

Columbus Council 1270 Scholarship
This
scholarship is open to any prospective graduate of Wellsville-Middletown High
School. He/She must have definite plans to further

MFA Foundation
Scholarship-Montgomery City
This

The competition is open
to high school seniors who plan to pursue agriculture-related degrees from
accredited colleges or universities. Based on competitive selection, judges
choose three national scholarship winners in the spring of each year. All three
winners receive $1,000 each. This is a non-renewable, college freshman

Fern
Braden-Audrain Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship
The Auxiliary
Scholarship fund began with a bequest from Fern Braden and is supported by
funds from the AMC Auxiliary. The purpose is to help area women or men obtain
an education in a medical field. Applications shall be submitted along with two
letters of recommendation, a recent photograph and official school transcripts.

U.S. Bank’s Internet Scholarship Program: U.S. Bank
will award up to 30 $1000 scholarships to high school seniors planning on
attending accredited two-or four-year colleges full time next fall. Scholarship
award recipients are selected through a random drawing process. Students can

Society of Professional Surveyors Robert V. Pirrie
Memorial Scholarship
The purpose of
this award is to encourage students going to college to major in land surveying
or a land surveying related field. Students must show scholastic promise and
potential for completion of college studies. He/she must show enrollment in
classes and/or participation in activities related to the land surveying field.
These might include mathematics, topography, and drafting. Students must be
enrolled in and accepted at an accredited, college, junior college or
university. In addition to the application form, students must submit a
transcript of their academic record at their institution and one letter of
recommendation. Applications are due March

United Credit
Union Scholarship
This
scholarship opportunity is being offered by the United Credit Union in Mexico,
Missouri. Seniors applying for this

Baptist Heritage Scholarship

scholarship opportunity is available to high school seniors or first-year students

Legion Scholarships
Lillie Lois Ford Scholarship
This scholarship opportunity is available to any senior boy who
has attended the American Legion Boys State of Missouri or a full session of
the Department’s Cadet Patrol
Academy. A second award is given to a girl who has attended a full session of the American Legion
Auxiliary’s Girls State program or a
full session of the Department’s Cadet Patrol
Academy. Applications are due April 13.
M.D. “Jack” Murphy
Memorial Nurses Training
This award is available to a Missouri boy or girl training to
be a Registered Nurse, and may be used in their freshman or subsequent college
years. The student must have graduated in the top forty percent of their high
school class or have a “C” or equivalent
standing from their last college or university semester. Applications are due April 13.
Joseph J. Frank Scholarship
Applicants must have attended a full session of the American
Legion Boys or Girls State and be a descendant of a member of the American
Legion. Applications are due April 13.
Charles L. Bacon
To be eligible for this scholarship an individual must be a
current member of the American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary, or the
Sons of the American Legion, or a descendant of a member of any thereof.

Erman W. Taylor Memorial
To be eligible for this scholarship an individual must be a
descendant of a veteran who served 90 or more days of active duty in the armed
forces and having an honorable discharge, be a Missouri resident, use the award
as full-time student at an accredited college or university, provide a copy of
the discharge certificate for the veteran on whose the application is made, and
submit an essay of 500 words or less on the subject, “In your
opinion, what was the most significant world event of 2010/2011.” Applications are due April
13.
WM Athletic
Booster Scholarship
Applicants must have participated in an athletic program during their
high school career. Applications are on-line through the school

VFW Ladies
Auxiliary Scholarship
The ladies of
the VFW Auxiliary will be giving a yearly scholarship to a student from
Wellsville-Middletown R-1. Eligible applicants must be a descendent of a person
who served in the military. He or she must also be continuing their education
at a vocational school, college or university.

Women Legislators of Missouri
Scholarship
The
Women Legislators of Missouri are sponsoring a scholarship award for graduating
high school senior women in our state. They will award nine $500 scholarships
to graduating women. One recipient will be chosen from each of the nine
Missouri U. S. Congressional Districts for a scholarship award. Applications
received after this time & date will not be accepted. The applicant
should submit the completed scholarship application by mail to: Representative

West Capitol Ave., Jefferson City, Missouri 65101. Or by email to:donna.lichtenegger@house.mo.gov, With the words WLM Essay Contest in
the subject line. Students that do not follow instruction and/or fill out the
